first up, yesterday, i just got the notice that i'm going to be in the flight operations department, not the security one
ok i wasn't really expecting that department to appear since it wasn't mentioned during out interview....
but oh well
mon: 8.30am to 6.30pm
overtime one hour on the first day
and there's no overtime pay lol
tue(today): 9.30am to 5.30pm
my mum came to find me~ so i have an excuse to leave early.
Monday:
firstly, i'm not the only intern in that department.
there's another guy called "samuel" who is in it with me, except that he isn't from SP
and his intern is only a month.
So we, together with another waiting-for-pilot-training-guy, Daniel, are in the meeting room
i just got my laptop, so i didn't know what to do.
so Daniel suggested i use my com to aid him
he's checking the employment code, passport number, passport expiry and country, so having 2 com will help him not to switch windows on his com
Then my supervisor, Tzuliang, started to have a meeting in the same room
And it was a heated aggument...
so for the first day i helped Daniel.
Tuesday:
reported in at 9.30, but since my com has no wireless, i couldn't start any work
until lunch time when tsuliang is back
after lunch, the three of us spilt the "flight attendants'" list into three
and we start transfering the past duties from the old system (Geneva) into the new system (Rocade)
i cleared from 1 jan to 23 feb....i think....
then i had to excuse myself since my mum's waiting for me, but the remaining 2 guys are still working.
so i decided to arrrive at 8.30am tomorrow
( but i'll most probably arrive at 7.45am...)
the ttransfering of duties is quite... problematic...
well one problem was that when i press on a date for eg 3.1, there will be a message about some calendar thingy so cant edit
and even if i manage to edit, for eg pressing "avail" for 2.3, it might end up "hotel" for 7.3
other than that it's just being careful, since the new system is empty, so each clicking for "day off" or "unavail" or "sick" must be correct as per the old system, and both system doesn't look exactly the same.
well... i'll work hard tomorow too...
but i'm really tired....
and my vodka's emptied.....

( note: it's a 5 day work week but i might be working this sat too. i'll update on this on thurs )
