10.4

yesterday i finished editing the timing of the flights in the movement control plot, and started on filling in the missing schedules and flights for the cabin crew ( FA + PUR ) from 25th march up till the 31th march. but i only completed up till B for yesterday.
I remermber something about needing to fill in the april roster, but i doubt anyone started...

Right now i'm trying to rush out the 2 pages minimum reflection that is needed to submit by friday, 5pm.
so far i written 2 paragraphs, around 350 words, and i'm stucked again...
there were simply too many terms and information that i don't know.

I might post some of what i've written in my reflection here, but that's highly impossible, since i doubt anybody is interested.

word count: 596 words, going to be the end of one page.
Does this mean i have to write at least 1000 words to fulfill the 2 pages requirement?
*sigh*
i'd prefer writing essays of 2000 words than a reflection....
writing essays has always been easier for me... since i can throw in anything without caring about the facts...
and did i mention? my reflection is quite shallow from my point of view.
The things that i wrote down were all very basic, and not quite elaborated.
Can't help it, i really don't know much except knowing how to look at one system and transfer the data to another system.

i have this sudden urge to travel.
Anywhere is fine.
Even Johor, Malaysia is fine
I just want to travel.

i'm so jealous of Samuel since he's travelling around Europe.
it's my dream goddammit!

either way, i'll see if can i finish the reflection today, then maybe i'll start on the reflections in the log book
deadline: thursday or else Tzu Liang will be gone.

pss: somewhere i read, whenever someone types russian, there's always brackets at the end of the sentence right?

short update
Jason went home,
so the dinner is left with me, Tzuliang, Samuel and Daniel
suddenly i'm not so looking forward to it.
we're going to tampines' safra to eat by the way
i wonder why... maybe because i feel out of their group
not that i can understand what they are talking about
and sorry, i'm not interested in knowing what they are watching/talking about...
aah i feel like going home.
so rare that my mum worked till 4.30 as compared to the usual 8.30 or 11.
i want to eat in J Cube...
at least i feel more at ease there.

what i did today... basically is to schedule the rosters from 25th till 31th march for pursers and flight attendants, then doing the checklist and finishing up with the over coverage... it's the under coverage that has problems since most of the new cabin crew aren't keyed in Rocade, so most of the errors lies with them... and it's a hassle to check through them all.. /opps/
ah well i'll most probably be doing that tomorrow...

anyways, I FINISHED THE REFLECTION!!
at least it's a little over 2 pages, around 1.4k words...
i might add more but have to see how...

9.4 Monday

3 days break.
Yes, i've had a 3 days break
Should i complain that it's totally not enough at all?
*sigh*

ok last thursday, i did the same, then went on to uhh...
( ok i forgot the term for it ) movement control i think
basically is to key in the estimated take off time, actual take off time, estimated arriving time, actual take off time.
so Samuel read from Geneva, and i keyed into Rocade
to make sure that all flights are in correct timing since most of them are off
and it takes around 15 to 20 mins to complete all the flights for 1 day.
so we only cleared... 5?
most probably we'll be doing this today as well. i'll update

Samuel's leaving tomorrow, and Tzuliang's leaving on Thursday.
i wonder where will i be posted to....
i don't mix well with the other 2 interns...

Ok, since Samuel isn't here, i can't get anything started.
So i shall do something here to kill time.
Oh by the way, i'm still having a cold war with my brother
seriously, i couldn't care less if he's dead.
Just saying.

6 more days till my friends are back from invading China
and 7 more days till they are available to chat with me via sms.
Not that i'm desperate to have a chat.
i just like to have countdown for everything.
And time is something i'm very strict on.

4.14pm

just went for a cabin crew graduation ceremony.
well they had the CEO for some talk, then giving away the awards of recognition ,then some video montage and followed by refreshements.

Well i hope that the video montage could have been longer, because i'm realy curious in what they learn rather than seeing their smiles, oh well, there were just too much pictures of them faces.
Ok maybe i'm biased,

anyway up till just now i've finished the movement control plot up till 16mar (working backwards)
so i'm waiting for tzuliang to give us more things to do.
Friday lunch: me and daniel (Jason's MC, Samuel and Tzuliang gone )
i need drag the 2 other interns with me else it'll be damn awkward....

anyway chatted with xiao fang who's at florida (i think ) at the moment.
i totally forgot about the time difference.
it feels so different chatting with a friend with time difference.....

5.4 Good Friday tomorrow!

Tomorrow's a holiday~~
can't wait for today to be over!!
Samuel's leaving next tuesday,
and out team's having dinner on that day as well!

oh and an update...
i did the same thing for yesterday, except doing it for the Feb roster.
the only change was that we didn't have to refer to the tech log
which meant that we can just assign without checking who landed
so long as for a 2 sector , there's 2 different landing pilot assigned,
and for 4, there's double etc.
which made my work way easier
but i'm still having headache from staring...

it wasn't this tired when i was doing the transfering of schedule...
was it?

anyway it's a dress down for today since tomorrow's a holiday,
and i've just gotten my pay check~
not in full though since i never work full a month
but either ways my mum seemed to be very happy
so i guess it's fine

a few more days till my krolik and Francis are back.
i seriously want to go out somewhere to chill with them.

N4 or wait?

yesterday i accompanied my friend since she wanted to register for JLPT N5
now i'm at an impasse..
should i regi for JLPT N4? i passed N5 with 160/180 or something like that de...
yea i remember i miss 20 marks to full marks.
so she's having her exam around july 1st

so should i take N4 now
or should i wait for her so that we can take N4 together in dec?
( there's 2 exams in a year )
but i'm sure i can pass N4 easily
and it doesn't crash with my work since it's on sunday
and my mum's totally for me going to take now...

i need help....
should i take or wait?

anyway yesterday i did something different for once.
i was assigning the landing pilot for the flights, so means 2 sector flight
eg SIN --> MNL, MNL --> SIN will have 2 landing pilots
so i need to assign the landing indication to the pilot/first officer.

problem...
i have to open Geneva, open tech log, select the date, look at the tech log ( is alphabetical, then according to date ), then assign, close tech log, reopen tech log, select the date, etc etc
more of like i'm scared i'll select the wrong date, or the wrong indication
since there's other indications like some left hand check , flying off or something like that
just, alot.
and some of the schedule are wrong, for example when there's there's a flight on a particular date, it turned out that the schedule became "available" or "dayoff" or something that isn't that flight.
or another mistake is that the flight is assigned to someone else so need to find out who's that person, check his schedule, reassign his if his is wrong then assign the flight back to the person then can do the indication thingy....
so ended up i started from 1mar yesterday,
and i ended halfway at 3mar....
my task's supposed to be up till 16mar...
i hope i can finish everything by thursday since friday is a holiday...


oh and the JLPT thingy registration thingy ends either tomorrow ot thursday,
so i need help asap...
Note: i think jurong east's J Cube is opened...

i've decided to take the N4 test.
Since i won't know will i be free in the dec to take the test..
yea so i'm heading down to register.

i did the same today, from 3 mar till 7 mar
tomorrow i'll finish till the 10th
then this will be done~

went to terminal 2 staff canteen for lunch today.
their hokkien fried noodles is quite nice
but the location is quite far...
if we're going again tomorrow, i'll try out the western dishes~
i even saw satay~~~ definitely going to try them out soon!

Ps: any idea where in singapore can i learn german or russian??

FYI: i'm done with 7mar up till now, so i'm wasting time because starting on a new date might create confusion for me...
